About Us

Who Are We?

Live Life Music started as an Edmond-based, student-led group dedicated to serving and nurturing the fine arts of Oklahoma through music-related initiatives. Founded by Joshua Zhu in 2018, with dedication and perseverance, the young group started programs for music performances at senior homes and held a benefit concert for an underfunded Oklahoma high school orchestra arts program in 2019.

In 2020, Jaclyn Fan, current president and CEO, took on a new role to lead Live Life Music during the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic. She brought the organization into new American states and expanded it internationally to Germany, the Philippines, India, and other nations through an online volunteer network. Preserving the integrity of a fully student-operated 501(c)3 nonprofit group, the board took on a new mission to raise awareness about social issues within arts through music-related initiatives in underserved communities throughout Oklahoma and the United States.

The board continues to serve faithfully through a blend of hands-on work, including partnerships with other arts and social organizations and community events, and online impact, such as the dissection of important musical histories or injustices, to spread Live Life Music's mission to the whole world.

OUR MISSION
