About Us
Who Are We?
Live Life Music is an OKC based, student-led group dedicated to serving and nurturing the fine arts of Oklahoma through music-related initiatives. Founded by high school student Joshua Zhu in 2018, the young group organized music performances at senior living centers and hosted their first benefit concert.
In 2020, Jaclyn Fan took on a new role to lead Live Life Music through the COVID-19 pandemic. She expanded the organization into new states and internationally to Germany, the Philippines, India, and other nations through an online volunteer network. Jaclyn rounded out her tenure with another hugely successful benefit concert, raising over $10,000 for an underfunded Oklahoma City high school orchestra, all before graduating high school!
In 2022, Live Life Music partnered with N&C Music and introduced local college students into their organization. They continue to host Community Performances at senior living communities and Benefit Events for local fine arts programs.
Live Life Music uses a blend of hands-on work, partnerships with other OKC arts and social organizations, and online impact to inspire change and address inequity in Oklahoma fine arts education.
